Our family-run guest house is located in the small village Dolni Malá Úpa, near the Czech-Polish border in the east part of the Krkonoše mountains. In our newly reconstructed classic mountain cottage awaits a family and child-friendly atmosphere in a complete non-smoker environment, not only in the restaurant but also throughout the whole building. We are open all year long so you can adventure in the Krkonoše mountains at any time of year, in any type of weather. In the winter the SkiBus, with a bus stop right in front of the cottage, will make getting up to  Pomezní Boudy and SKIMU (the closest ski-resorts) a breeze. Thanks to that you can get to some of the biggest ski resorts in the Czech Republic in no time at all. The most known are Pec pod Sněžkou, Velká Úpa or Černá Hora. During the Summer, Spring or Autumn there are many hiking trails near by of all kinds of difficulty levels, ranging from trails for kids to intense trails for hardcore professionals. Modrá Hvězda offers a traditional and relaxed environment all year round with parking right by the cottage and a sauna for guests to complete the relaxing experience.
