There are excellent conditions in the summer for windsurfing, swimming, cycling, mushroom picking, fishing and other sports. In winter , especially for skiing, both on downhill and cross-country skis, but also for skating on the frozen Lake Lipno. Not far from there is the Kramolím winter resort with several groomed riding and cross-country trails of various levels of difficulty. For the more demanding, there is Sterstain in Austria, 20 km away, where there is a beautiful view of the Alps from the lookout tower there. In summer you can use the ferry to the other side of Lake Lip, or trips through the beautiful Šumava nature, and in the vicinity you will find many attractions and monuments such as: Vítk's stone, Devil's wall, the monastery in Vyšší brod, the Krumlov castle or the revolving auditorium of the theater also in Český Krumlov. You can also use the border crossing 5 km away to visit Austria. The months of September and October are particularly favorable for fishing and mushroom picking. In the spring of 2000, the ALS summer sports complex "grew up" in the accommodation area, where there is a large beach, tennis courts, boat and pedal boat rentals, a volleyball court, a children's playground and much more. Entertainment with live music is regularly organized in the village. There is also a supermarket, five restaurants and a regular bus connection in the place of residence.
